We are delighted to have been awarded £200 from Preston West County Councillor,David Borrow, to help towards the £2,000 costs of our planned carptentry workshop. We would like to install a robust shed within our walled garden to be used as the carpentry workshop. This money will also cover some carpentry tools in order to establish a basic workplace for our veterans to carry out therapeutic carpentry activities. Work is still under way to complete our walled garden extension and we have applied to four other county councillors for £200 grants which, if successful, would take the total contribution from the County Council to £1,000.
